Violinist Andrew Sords  has been described by global critics as “utterly radiant” and “exceptionally heartfelt and soulful.” Sords has appeared as soloist with over 100 orchestras and performed on notable recital series across four continents.  Born in 1985 in Newark, Delaware, Sords completed his undergraduate education at the Cleveland Institute of Music with violin pedagogues Linda Cerone and David Russell, and performed in masterclasses for the legendary Midori.

Notable performances include the Brahms Violin Concerto and the Bowling Green Symphony with David Dettloff, Tchaikovsky Concerto with Maestro Luis Biava, Chausson’s “Poeme” and Tchaikovsky Concerto with Anna Balakerskaia in Holland, and a live broadcast of George Crumb’s “Black Angels” on Cleveland’s WCLV 104.9. He is also acclaimed for his performances with Conductor and Violinist Sidney Harth, Chee-Yun, Neeme Jarvi, David Lockington, Ray Manzarek of The Doors, Jon Anderson, Graham Nash, The Supremes, and The Cavani String Quartet.  Strongly committed to making classical music to all, Sords dedicates a portion of his time at almost every engagement to educational outreach, masterclasses and community programming.

Pianist Eriko Izumida has been an active soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber musician, having performed extensively throughout the United States and Asia with numbers of artists including the Cleveland Orchestra members. A native of Japan, Ms Izumida began playing piano at the age of three. She has studied with Graeme Humphrey at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Thomas Hecht at the Cleveland Institute of Music (where she holds both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance).
