EMMA Concert Association presents the wildly popular Hollywood Concert Orchestra on February 13, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada Street in St. Augustine. Tickets are $40.00 ($5 for students) and may be purchased in advance at www.emmaconcerts.com (after July 1), by phone at 904-797-2800, or at the door. The box office opens one hour before the performance.
The Hollywood Concert Orchestra, founded in 1999 by John and Judith Giattino, has toured across the United States as well as in China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Throughout his many years as producer, John Giattino has been associated with such great artists as Mantovani, Percy Faith, Arthur Fiedler, and many other ‘greats’ in the pop orchestra genre.
The Hollywood Concert Orchestra, an ensemble of America’s finest musicians, has become one of the premier ensembles in the world. With its unique presentation of the latest TV, movie, and Broadway themes written and arranged especially for the orchestra, the Hollywood Concert Orchestra is known as “the Orchestra of the Stars,” featuring the best and brightest guest artists and soloists in lively and entertaining performances. The Hollywood Concert Orchestra specializes in ‘the music that “made” the movies .Best known for its special musical arrangements of both current and classic movie themes, the Hollywood Concert Orchestra performs music dating back to the early ‘30s, as well as the most current hits from movies such as “The Lion King” and “Mission Impossible.”
