A perennial sellout favorite, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will once again present a wonderful choice of holiday fare. The orchestra has prepared exciting arrangements of many Christmas favorites. Associate Conductor Morihiko Nakahara will direct the festive concerts, with guest stars to enhance the orchestral presentations.

Under its Music Director Fabio Mechetti the JSO has expanded its repertoire to include fully staged operas and has a full schedule of concert series both at home and abroad. The JSO is one of very few American orchestras with it own dedicated concert hall, the Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall, where it rehearses and performs the majority of its programs. The EMMA Concert Association is mindful of the popularity of the JSO’s Holiday Pops Special and therefore schedules two successive evening performances so that as many patrons as possible may enjoy this special holiday music. The program is topped off with a Christmas sing-along to raise your holiday spirits.
